Who we are

What we process and why

• Quote requests and contact messages. The quote and contact forms send your data through the website and it is stored in JETBIZ's systems. We process your name, email, phone number, trip details (origin, destination, dates, times, passengers, preferences) and your message, to answer your request and prepare proposals (steps prior to a contract and our legitimate interest in replying to people who contact us). To send the form you must confirm that you have read this Privacy Policy. You receive a confirmation email with your request reference.
• Protection against abuse. The forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people from bots. Your IP address is only used for that check and to limit abusive submissions: we do not store your IP address; we only keep, for at most 2 days, an irreversible code derived from it that changes every day.
• Empty-leg alerts. If you subscribe, we process your email address to send you repositioning-flight opportunities, based on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
• App page (/app). We count visits anonymously — date and time, campaign, kind of device and browser language — to measure our campaigns. This count does not record IP addresses or use cookies or identifiers, and cannot identify anyone. (The cookie notice described below also applies to this page.)
• Advertising and analytics cookies (Google). Only if you accept in the cookie notice: we measure visits and the results of our advertising campaigns with Google Ads and Google Analytics, based on your consent. Google receives your IP address, browser and device data and the pages you visit, and stores cookies in your browser. You can withdraw your consent at any time under “Cookies” at the bottom of every page. Without consent, nothing is loaded from Google.
• Running the website. Our hosting provider records technical data about requests to the server, including the IP address, for security and operation (legitimate interest). The country, derived from the IP address, is used on the fly to show the right phone number; we do not store it.

Who we share data with

• Netlify, Inc. — website and alert-form hosting; requests pass through the website's server in transit and, only if our system is unavailable, a backup copy is kept there until our team records it (website functions in London, United Kingdom — a country with an EU adequacy decision; pages delivered through Netlify's global network) (processor).
• Supabase, Inc. — database where requests and messages are stored (EU region — Ireland) (processor).
• Resend, Inc. — sending the confirmation email (EU region — Ireland) (processor).
• Cloudflare, Inc. — Turnstile, bot protection: processes your IP address and technical characteristics of your browser and device, only to check that you are a person (global network) (processor).
• Microsoft (Microsoft 365) — our email service, where the messages you send us arrive.
• Google (Google Ireland Limited) — Google Ads and Google Analytics, only if you accept cookies; and the map on the contact page, only if you click "Load map". Google receives your IP address and may use cookies, and may also process this data for its own purposes under Google's privacy policy. Without your consent or that click, nothing is loaded from Google.
• Meta (WhatsApp) — only if you choose to contact us on WhatsApp.

Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area, with the safeguards required by the GDPR (for example, standard contractual clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework).

How long we keep it

• Requests and messages that did not lead to a flight: 2 years after the last contact.
• Requests that led to an invoiced flight: 10 years, the legal retention period for tax documents.
• Alert subscriptions: until you unsubscribe. Every alert email includes a way to unsubscribe.
• Anonymous /app visit counts: 24 months.
• Google cookies (if you accept): up to 13 months. Your choice in the cookie notice is kept in your browser for 6 months; then we ask again.

Your rights

You can ask for access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, object to processing, and withdraw consent at any time by writing to info@jet-biz.com. You can also lodge a complaint with the Portuguese data protection authority (CNPD), www.cnpd.pt.

Cookies

When you arrive on the website, we ask whether you accept Google cookies (Google Ads and Google Analytics), which measure visits and our advertising campaigns. Accepting and rejecting are equally easy, and you can change your mind at any time under Cookies at the bottom of every page; if you withdraw your consent, we delete those cookies. To remember your choice, we only keep that choice in your browser. The Google map on the contact page only loads if you click "Load map"; Google may then use cookies. The website uses no other cookies.

We may update this policy; the date at the top shows the latest version.
